What’s up y’all 2019 was a year of creating, reflection and growth as an artist. I took on the task of learning how to mix and master my own music, then released that music all year! I will say it’s been quite the journey and I love it. I am also engineering for 2 other talented individuals, Chrissy J and Meagan Pena! I can’t wait to see what they do next!
I hope you’re ready for 2020, I’m releasing 26 singles with year that will be a great amalgamation of music. I am by far the move genre diverse artist you will hear this year. I think the best way to put where I am at right now is described by one of my influences, my guy Q Dot. He said “It’s definitely a different door to go into in the music space right now. He has got the trap door, the conscious door, the quasi R&B door and then there’s the Kev door. It’s got all those elements lol it’s got the trap door handle, the conscious door hinges, the R&B door frame, and the door itself is something else lol. I don’t know how else to describe it man.”
I hope you’re all ready for this journey in 2020! LET’S GO!!
The last 2 years I have been putting out my “ARTMUSIC” Series. Vol.1 was expressive and yielded one of my favorite and many people’s favorite “Truth Finds a Way” feat. YlanaRae. After the success of AMV1 i started to shift gears into producing and making my own beats with AMV2. Once again I had some great feedback from it and couldn’t have been happier. Upon thinking of where I would take this series, I really wanted to start connecting with all types of people. AMV3 : All I Ever Wanted, was put together to start that process. I know there are many people out there who are in love or want to fall in love and can’t express their feelings for their significant other or simply don’t know how to tell the person. I had quite a few people reach out and tell me that I made it easy for them to open up. With the next to Volumes I purposely didn’t promote them, they are more of a thank you to everyone who has listened. AMV4 : 4SZNS was a bit of an experiment in song types. My little brother flat out told me he didn’t like it and it made me happy. I wanted to take not only myself but others out of the comfort zone of what they’re used to hearing from me.
That brings me to September 20, 2019, today I released AMV5 : Thankful. This one is for those who listened to to the whole series and gave their feedback and attention. It’s more me than V4, I promise. I hope you all have enjoyed my ARTMUSIC series.
You’re for sure going to bump the fuck out of AMV6 : LEGENDS OF THE FALL
